knitting a small sweater:

Last month I started knitting a sweater for a good pal who's having a baby! I'm knitting it a little bit big so she'll be able to wear it in the fall.

It's my first sweater, one of my goals before I turn 30 in August is to knit a sweater. Since she's due in June/July (I think?) this will meet my goal! rad!

The pattern is called Korrigan and the yarn is Viola & so very amazing to knit with! I've been researching little buttons, I think either tiny wooden owls? Or maybe something more girl-y like flowers? I have time to decide at least! ;)

This is a very fun knit so far, it's tricky enough I have to pay attention but not to hard that I can't watch Top Gear while I work on it.
